142A.416 ANNUAL APPROPRIATION.

All earnings from trust fund assets, all sums received under section 142A.415, and 60 percent of the amount collected under section 144.226, subdivision 3, are appropriated annually from the children's trust fund for the prevention of child abuse to the commissioner of children, youth, and families to carry out sections 142A.41 to 142A.415.

NOTE: A transfer of a power or responsibility in this chapter to the Department of Children, Youth, and Families is effective upon notice of the commissioner of children, youth, and families to the commissioners of administration, management and budget, and other relevant departments along with the secretary of the senate, the chief clerk of the house of representatives, and the chairs and ranking minority members of the relevant legislative committees and divisions.
