For the purposes of sections 124D.71 to 124D.82, the terms defined in this section have the meanings given them.
"American Indian child" means any child, living on or off a reservation, who is enrolled or eligible for enrollment in a federally recognized tribe.
"Advisory task force" means the state advisory task force on American Indian education programs.
"Participating school" and "American Indian school" mean a school that:
(1) is not operated by a school district; and
(2) is eligible for a grant under Title IV of the Indian Education Act for the education of American Indian children.
