260D.14 SUCCESSFUL TRANSITION TO ADULTHOOD FOR YOUTH IN VOLUNTARY PLACEMENT.
Subdivision 1.Case planning.
When a youth is 14 years of age or older, the responsible social services agency shall ensure that a youth in foster care under this chapter is provided with the case plan requirements in section 260C.212, subdivisions 1 and 14.
Subd. 2.Notification.
The responsible social services agency shall provide a youth with written notice of foster care benefits that a youth who is 18 years of age or older may continue to receive according to section 260C.451, subdivision 1, and of the right to appeal a denial of social services under section 142A.20. The notice must be provided to the youth six months before the youth's 18th birthday.
Subd. 3.Administrative or court reviews.
When a youth is 14 years of age or older, the administrative review or court hearing must include a review of the responsible social services agency's support for the youth's successful transition to adulthood as required in section 260C.452, subdivision 4.
