     168C.08 Altering serial number; penalty. 


    No person shall willfully remove, destroy, mutilate or 
 otherwise alter the serial number or equivalent number of any 
 bicycle designated by the commissioner pursuant to section 
 168C.03.  No person shall willfully remove, destroy, mutilate, 
 or otherwise alter any license plate during the time in which 
 the license plate is operative.  Any person who violates the 
 provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor.
