     325E.34 Free newspapers; exclusive right to distribute 
  prohibited. 

    Subdivision 1.    Definitions.  For the purposes of this 
 section, the terms in paragraphs (a) and (b) have the meanings 
 given them. 

    (a) "Newspaper" has the meaning given in section 331A.01, 
 subdivision 5. 

    (b) "Place of public accommodation" has the meaning given 
 in section 363.01, subdivision 33. 

    Subd. 2.    Prohibition.  No contract may provide for an 
 exclusive right to display free newspapers for distribution in 
 any place of public accommodation.
