A licensed school psychologist is authorized to provide direct and indirect psychological services to prekindergarten through grade 12 students who are at risk of social and academic failure.
A candidate for licensure as a school psychologist shall provide evidence of having completed a preparation program in school psychology accredited by the National Association of School Psychologists.
A professional license shall be renewed according to the rules of the Board of Teaching governing professional licensure.
Requirements in this part for licensure as a school psychologist are effective on September 1, 2001, and thereafter.
