7409.1000 VEHICULAR HOMICIDE OR INJURY; MANSLAUGHTER.

The commissioner shall revoke the driver's license of a person upon receiving a record of conviction, for a period of:

A.

15 years, if the person is convicted under Minnesota Statutes, section 609.20, manslaughter in the first degree, resulting from the operation of a motor vehicle;

B.

ten years, if the person is convicted under:

(1)

Minnesota Statutes, section 609.21, subdivision 1, clause (1) or (7), or subdivision 1a, paragraph (a); or

(2)

Minnesota Statutes, section 609.205, manslaughter in the second degree, resulting from the operation of a motor vehicle;

C.

five years, if the person is convicted under Minnesota Statutes, section 609.21, subdivision 1a, paragraph (b);

D.

three years, if the person is convicted under Minnesota Statutes, section 609.21, subdivision 1a, paragraph (c); or

E.

one year, if the person is convicted under Minnesota Statutes, section 609.21, subdivision 1a, paragraph (d).
