7011.2300 STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE FOR STATIONARY INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES.
Subpart 1.
Visible air contaminants.
No owner or operator of any stationary internal combustion engine shall cause or permit the emission of visible air contaminants from the engine in excess of 20 percent opacity once operating temperatures have been attained.
Subp. 2.
Sulfur dioxide.
No owner or operator of any stationary internal combustion engine shall cause to be discharged into the atmosphere from the engine any gases which contain sulfur dioxide in excess of 0.5 pounds per million Btu actual heat input unless an alternative limit is established in an air emission permit after demonstration through modeling of compliance with the sulfur dioxide standards in part 7009.0080.
