6301.2320 PURPOSE FOR NURSING EDUCATION STANDARDS.
The purpose for nursing education standards is to:
§
A.
provide a framework for preparing safe and competent graduates for entry into practical and professional nursing;
§
B.
provide criteria for the development, evaluation, and improvement of new and established nursing education programs; and
§
C.
ensure candidates are educationally prepared for licensure and recognition at the appropriate level.
