If a self-sufficiency program administrator determines that a caretaker parent has discontinued participation in a self-sufficiency program, the administrator must notify the caretaker parent of that determination. The notice must be in writing and must explain the effect nonparticipation in a self-sufficiency program will have on the rental assistance. The notice must:
state that the rental assistance will end six months after participation in a program was discontinued;
explain that after the date specified, the caretaker parent will be responsible for the total housing costs;
describe the actions the caretaker parent may take to avoid termination of the rental assistance; and
inform the caretaker parent of the caretaker parent's responsibility to notify the self-sufficiency program administrator if the caretaker parent begins participation in another self-sufficiency program or is employed at least half-time.
