4731.3420 ACCEPTANCE SAMPLING PROCEDURES.

A random sample must be taken from each inspection lot of devices licensed under part 4731.3345 or 4731.3380 or Code of Federal Regulations, title 10, section 32.14, for which testing is required under part 4731.3345, subpart 4, or 4731.3380, subpart 2, or Code of Federal Regulations, title 10, section 32.15, according to the appropriate sampling table under this part, determined by the designated lot tolerance percent defective. If the number of defectives in the sample does not exceed the acceptance number in the appropriate sampling table under this part, the lot must be accepted. If the number of defectives in the sample exceeds the acceptance number in the appropriate sampling table under this part, the entire inspection lot must be rejected.
