4731.3010 SPECIFIC EXEMPTIONS.

A.

The commissioner may, upon application of any interested person or upon the commissioner's own initiative, grant exemptions from parts 4731.3200 to 4731.7280 as the commissioner determines are authorized by law and will not endanger life or property or the common defense and security and are otherwise in the public interest.

B.

A licensee's activities are exempt from parts 4731.3000 to 4731.3245 to the extent that the licensee's activities are licensed under Code of Federal Regulations, title 10, part 72.

C.

The United States Department of Energy is exempt from parts 4731.3000 to 4731.3245 to the extent that the licensee's activities are subject to the requirements of Code of Federal Regulations, title 10, parts 60 and 63.
