A person who provides occupational therapy as a licensee or as an employee or contractor of a licensee must:
have earned a baccalaureate degree from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association;
be registered as an occupational therapist by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board; or
meet the standards established for registration by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board, in effect on June 1, 1990.
A person who provides speech therapy as a licensee or as an employee or contractor of a licensee must be registered with the department as a speech- language pathologist, under parts 4750.0010 to 4750.0700.
A person who provides respiratory therapy as a licensee or as an employee or contractor of a licensee must have completed a respiratory care program accredited by the American Medical Association's Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation and the Joint Review Committee for Respiratory Therapy Education or by an accrediting agency approved by the commissioner.
A person who provides nutritional services as a licensee or as an employee or contractor of a licensee, must have a baccalaureate degree in nutrition or a comparable program, including at least six months of supervised experience, or be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
