relating to health care; increasing medical assistance reimbursement rate for administration of COVID-19 vaccine.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
new text begin (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 256B.76, the medical assistance reimbursement rate for administering the COVID-19 vaccination is the Medicare rate for health care professionals who administer a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the Food and Drug Administration, including through emergency use authorization, to a medical assistance enrollee in accordance with the professional's scope of practice. new text end
new text begin (b) This section expires on the last day of the first quarter that begins at least one year after the last day of the federal public health emergency described in section 1135(g)(1)(B) of the Social Security Act for COVID-19. new text end
