An act

relating to transportation; highways; designating a segment of marked Trunk Highway 23 as Officer Tom Decker Memorial Highway;

amending Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 161.14, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 161.14, is amended by adding a subdivision to read:

new text begin That segment of marked Trunk Highway 23 from the east border of the township of Wakefield to the west border of the city of Richmond is designated as "Officer Tom Decker Memorial Highway." Subject to section 161.139, the commissioner shall adopt a suitable design to mark this highway and erect appropriate signs. new text end
