relating to insurance; modifying the definition of a health plan company;
proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 645.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
new text begin The term "health plan company" or "health plan companies," when used in Minnesota Statutes or Minnesota Rules, does not apply to an entity that offers, sells, issues, or renews only products expressly excluded from the definition of a health plan under section 62A.011, subdivision 3, clauses (1), (4), (8), and (9), except in sections 3.7394; 62A.021; 62J.80; 72A.139; and 72A.20, or unless otherwise specified. new text end
