Laws of Minnesota 1992 CHAPTER 439-S.F.No. 2028 An act relating to agriculture; changing requirements for pesticide registration applications; amending Minnesota Statutes 1990, section 18B.26, subdivision 2. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 1990, section 18B.26, subdivision 2, is amended to read: Subd. 2. [APPLICATION.] (a) A person must file an application for registration with the commissioner. The application must include: (1) the name and address of the applicant and the name and address of the person whose name will appear on the label, if other than the applicant; (2) the brand name of the pesticide; (3) other necessary information required by the registration application form; (4) a true and complete copy of the labeling accompanying the pesticide as provided for in FIFRA; and (5) current material safety data sheets for each pesticide. (b) As part of the application, the commissioner may require the submission of any relevant information including the complete formula of a pesticide, including the active and inert ingredients. The commissioner may also require the registrant to supply analytical standards and methods for the pesticide, pesticide breakdown products, or metabolites.
