Laws of Minnesota 1992 CHAPTER 387-H.F.No. 1763 An act relating to state lands; authorizing the conveyance or release of a state easement in Faribault. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: Section 1. [CONVEYANCE OR RELEASE OF EASEMENT.] Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 94.09 to 94.16, or any other law, the commissioner of administration, on behalf of the state of Minnesota, shall release and terminate the state's interest in an easement in and use of certain land subject to the easement in accordance with this section. The interest must be released and terminated without monetary consideration and in a form approved by the attorney general. The release document need not contain the names of the owners of or other persons with interests in property affected by the release. The release document shall be accepted for record. The interest to be released and terminated is in land in the West 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of Section 32 Township 110 North Range 20 West in the city of Faribault, Rice county, and is an easement recorded in book 48 of deeds on pages 490 and 491, filed November 1, 1882. The easement is no longer used or needed by the state of Minnesota and a release of the easement is necessary to clear objections to title to property in Faribault, Rice county, Minnesota. Sec. 2. [EFFECTIVE DATE.] Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment. Presented to the governor March 30, 1992 Signed by the governor March 31, 1992, 6:10 p.m.
