Laws of Minnesota 1991 CHAPTER 86-H.F.No. 1396 An act relating to local government; allowing Pine county to transfer money from the county welfare fund to the general fund to support a hospital. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: Section 1. [PINE COUNTY FUNDS TRANSFER.] Pine county may transfer $100,000 from the county welfare fund to the county general fund to reimburse the general fund for money paid in calendar year 1989 to the North Pine Area Hospital District. The money transferred under this section may be derived from the levy of the county under Minnesota Statutes, section 275.50, subdivision 5, paragraph (a), for social services and income maintenance programs. Sec. 2. [PENALTY WAIVED.] No penalty may be imposed under Minnesota Statutes, section 275.55, subdivision 1, with respect to a transfer of money from the county welfare fund under section 1. Sec. 3. [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This act is effective the day following final enactment without local approval as provided under Minnesota Statutes, section 645.023, subdivision 1, clause (a).
