Laws of Minnesota 1989 CHAPTER 62-S.F.No. 1241 An act relating to education; changing a requirement for teaching in barber school; amending Minnesota Statutes 1988, section 154.065, subdivision 2. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 1988, section 154.065, subdivision 2, is amended to read: Subd. 2. [QUALIFICATIONS.] No certificate of registration shall be issued to any person under this section unless that person has the following minimum qualifications: (a) is at least 25 years of age; (b) is a graduate from an approved high school, or its equivalent, as determined by examination by the state board of education; (c) has qualified for a teacher's or instructor's vocational certificate; (d) has at leastfivethree years experience as a licensed barber in this state, or its equivalent; (e) has passed the examination prescribed and conducted by the board of barber examiners on subjects provided by the laws governing licensing of barbers in Minnesota.
