Laws of Minnesota 1984 CHAPTER 400-H.F.No. 977 An act relating to private clubs; authorizing the city of Farmington to issue a club on-sale liquor license and a license to conduct bingo and gambling to an Eagles Club. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: Section 1. [FARMINGTON CLUB ON-SALE LICENSE.] Notwithstanding the period of existence required by section 340.11, subdivision 11, or any law to the contrary, the city of Farmington may issue a club on-sale intoxicating liquor license to an Eagles Club located within the city. The fee is that required by section 340.11, subdivision 11, and all other provisions of chapter 340 not inconsistent with this section apply to the license. Sec. 2. [FARMINGTON CLUB; GAMBLING AND BINGO LICENSE.] Notwithstanding the period of existence required by sections 349.14 and 349.26, subdivision 9, the city of Farmington may issue a license under chapter 349 to an Eagles Club located within the city. All other provisions of chapter 349 not inconsistent with this section apply to the license. Sec. 3. [EFFECTIVE DATE.] Sections 1 and 2 are effective upon approval by the Farmington city council and compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021. Approved April 19, 1984
