Laws of Minnesota 1984 CHAPTER 507-H.F.No. 1405 An act relating to state monuments; adding the "Monument to the Living" in Ramsey County to the list of state monuments; amending Minnesota Statutes 1982, section 138.585, by adding a subdivision. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 1982, section 138.585, is amended by adding a subdivision to read: Subd. 30. Monument to the Living, in Ramsey County, a statue of a military fighting man, created by Roger Brodin to serve as a memento to all living Minnesota veterans, dedicated in May of 1982 and located on the State Capitol grounds in St. Paul, established in 1984. Sec. 2. [LOCATION OF MONUMENT.] The Monument to the Living shall be permanently located within the Capitol grounds in a place of visual prominence and honor. Approved April 25, 1984
