Laws of Minnesota 1983 CHAPTER 68--H.F.No. 231 An act relating to motor vehicles; increasing the time for the validity of temporary registration permits to 21 days; amending Minnesota Statutes 1982, section 168.092, subdivision 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 1982, section 168.092, subdivision 1, is amended to read: Subdivision 1. The motor vehicle registrar may issue a permit toanya person purchasing a new or used motor vehicle in this state for the purpose of allowing the purchaser a reasonable time to register the vehicle and pay fees and taxes due on the transfer. The permitshall beis valid for a period of1021 days. The permitshallmust be insucha form as the registrar may determine and, whenever practicableshallmust be posted upon the left side of the inside rear window of the vehicle. Eachsuchpermitshall beis valid only for the vehicle for which issued. Approved April 29, 1983
