Laws of Minnesota 1983 CHAPTER 37--S.F.No. 73 An act relating to Dakota county; fixing the conditions for certain land transfers. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: Section 1. [DAKOTA COUNTY; LAND TRANSFERS.] Dakota county may sell, lease, or otherwise convey county-owned land that abuts Lake Byllesby to adjoining property owners who, after the transfer, will have direct access to Lake Byllesby. Any sale, lease, or other conveyance shall be made at the market value of the property as appraised by the county. The sales, leases, or other conveyances may be done without compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 373.01, subdivision 1, clause (3), except the requirement for reservation of mineral rights. The county shall make any sale, lease or other conveyance under this section subject to reservation by the county of flowage easements relating to water levels of Lake Byllesby. This section does not apply to any county-owned land which has been developed by the county as public parkland. Sec. 2. [LOCAL APPROVAL.] This act is effective the day after compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021, subdivision 3, by the Dakota county board. Approved April 19, 1983
