Laws of Minnesota 1983 CHAPTER 172--S.F.No. 1105 An act relating to state lands; providing for the conveyance of certain state land to the city of St. Peter for use as a roadway. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: Section 1. [CONVEYANCE TO ST. PETER.] The governor, upon the recommendation of the commissioner of administration and the commissioner of public welfare, in exchange for the mutual benefits inuring to the state of Minnesota and the city of St. Peter, Minnesota and without monetary consideration, shall convey to the city of St. Peter for the purpose of a roadway and by an instrument approved by the attorney general: a right-of-way located in Nicollet County, Minnesota, 100 feet in width within 50 feet each side of a centerline commencing at the Northeast corner of Section 29, Township 110 North, Range 26 West; thence North 89 degrees 54 minutes 24 seconds West along the North line of said Section 29, a distance of 776 feet to the point of beginning; thence South 18 degrees 23 minutes 21 seconds West, a distance of 1,550 feet, more or less to the centerline of Trunk Highway No. 295 and there terminating, subject to an easement for Trunk Highway No. 99 as set forth in Commissioner's Width Order No. 15913, and further subject to Trunk Highway No. 295 as set forth in Commissioner's Order No. 21188. Sec. 2. [LAND REVERTS.] The land described in section 1, over which the city of St. Peter now owns an easement for roadway purposes, shall be conveyed for continued use as a roadway. This land shall revert to the state if and when it is no longer used as a roadway. Sec. 3. [EFFECTIVE DATE.] Sections 1 and 2 are effective the day following final enactment. Approved May 19, 1983
