A bill for an act
 relating to higher education; reimbursement for NextGen at the Minnesota State
Colleges and Universities; appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; NEXTGEN REIMBURSEMENT.

new text begin $36,000,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the general fund to the Board of
Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities to reimburse its member colleges
and universities for their system contributions since January 1, 2020, for the NextGen project
that upgrades the Integrated Statewide Record System. The Board of Trustees of the
Minnesota State Colleges and Universities may not reallocate this appropriation. This is a
onetime appropriation.
