A bill for an act
 relating to human services; providing for a rate increase determination for the
Ramsey County nursing facility; amending Minnesota Statutes 2004, section
256B.431, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 256B.431, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin Ramsey County nursing facility rate determination. new text end

new text begin Following the
determination under subdivision 28 of the payment rate for the rate year beginning July
1, 2006, for a facility in Ramsey County licensed for 180 beds, the facility's operating
cost per diem shall be increased by $4.98.

Sec. 2. new text begin EFFECTIVE DATE.
