  1.3   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.4      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.5      $50,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.6   commissioner of natural resources to study frog tissues as 
  1.7   biological indicators and to develop an index for wetlands water 
  1.8   quality using invertebrates and amphibians.
