A bill for an act
relating to state government; appropriating money to the commissioner of
administration for certain space costs in fiscal years 2025, 2026, and 2027.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; COMMISSIONER OF ADMINISTRATION; IN
LIEU OF RENT.

new text begin $....... in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of
administration for space costs incurred in fiscal years 2025, 2026, and 2027 by tenants that
provide public-facing professional services on the Capitol complex. The commissioner of
administration must designate one publicly accessible space on the complex for which this
appropriation may be used. This is a onetime appropriation and is available until June 30,
2027.
