relating to capital investment; appropriating money for capital improvements to
the Juxtaposition Arts Center.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin JUXTAPOSITION ARTS CENTER.

new text begin $4,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of employment
and economic development for a grant to the Juxtaposition Arts Center for one or more of
the following project elements: demolition, site preparation, predesign, design, renovation
of existing buildings, and construction of a new building on the organization's North
Minneapolis campus.
