A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money for local road projects in
Sturgeon Lake.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; LOCAL ROADS, STURGEON LAKE.

new text begin $2,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund in fiscal year 2021 to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Sturgeon Lake to pave
the following local roads in the city of Sturgeon Lake: Timberline Road, Second Street,
Lind Street, Cemetery Road, Deer Drive, Birch Lane, Logan Drive, Aspen Lake, Forest
Road, Greenbay Road, and First Avenue. This appropriation is onetime, does not require a
nonstate match, and is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to
Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
