A bill for an act
relating to local government; prohibiting local zoning that limits or prohibits charter
schools; amending Minnesota Statutes 2018, sections 394.25, by adding a
subdivision; 462.357, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 394.25, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

new text begin A county must not enact or enforce an official control
limiting the number or location of charter schools established under chapter 124E.

Sec. 2.

Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 462.357, is amended by adding a subdivision to
read:
