relating to parks and trails; appropriating money for development of Wagon Wheel
Trail.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; LA CRESCENT; WAGON WHEEL TRAIL.

new text begin $2,500,000 in fiscal year 2019 is appropriated from the parks and trails fund to the
commissioner of natural resources for a grant to the city of La Crescent for phase three of
four phases of the Wagon Wheel Trail project, including predesign, design, engineering,
and construction of a grade-separated crossing of marked Trunk Highways 14, 16, and 61
near downtown La Crescent that will connect to the existing Wagon Wheel Trail. This is a
onetime appropriation.
