relating to taxation; sales and use; providing an exemption for the construction
of a public television station facility.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin EXEMPTION; DONATED MATERIALS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
A PUBLIC TELEVISION FACILITY.

new text begin Building materials and supplies donated by a private entity and used in the
construction of a new facility for Pioneer Public Television to be located in Granite Falls,
are exempt from taxation under Minnesota Statutes, chapter 297A.

new text begin This section is effective for materials and supplies used in the
construction of the facility after April 1, 2016, and before September 1, 2017.
