  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to economic development; appropriating money 
  1.3             to the Department of Employment and Economic 
  1.4             Development for a marketing initiative. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $250,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of employment and economic development for 
  1.9   Positively Minnesota, a joint marketing initiative between the 
  1.10  state and the private sector.  This appropriation is available 
  1.11  upon receipt by the commissioner of equal matching contributions 
  1.12  from nonstate sources.
