relating to arts and culture; appropriating money for multimedia television series
on history of women's rights.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$4,000,000 in fiscal year 2020 is appropriated from the arts and cultural heritage fund
to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to FilmNorth
to contract with Headwaters Entertainment to produce and distribute a series related to
Minnesota history, including the history of women's rights and equality in Minnesota. The
series must be filmed and produced in Minnesota.
