A bill for an act
relating to employment; prohibiting work restrictions based on high school
attendance for employees age 18 and older; proposing coding for new law in
Minnesota Statutes, chapter 181.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.

[181.99] HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS OVER AGE 18.

For employees age 18 and older, an employer must not restrict work shifts or hours to
an employee based on the fact that the employee is a high school student.
