relating to public safety; courts; appropriating money to establish a gun court
in Hennepin County.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; GUN COURT; HENNEPIN COUNTY.

$....... in fiscal year 2016 is appropriated from the general fund to the Fourth Judicial
District Court for the purpose of developing and supporting a gun court in Hennepin
County. The court shall primarily adjudicate illegal firearm possession cases. The court
shall adjudicate other criminal cases that involve firearms as the court's calendar permits.
This appropriation is available until spent.
