A bill for an act
relating to data practices; classifying certain grant application data submitted to
the Board of the Arts or to a regional arts council; proposing coding for new law
in Minnesota Statutes, chapters 13; 129D.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

arts council is governed by section 129D.20.

Sec. 2.

new text begin [129D.20] GRANT APPLICATION DATA.

new text begin Notwithstanding section 13.599, grant application or proposal data submitted to the
Board of the Arts or to a regional arts council becomes public data at the time in which the
grant application or proposal is considered at a public review meeting. Any trade secret data
contained in a grant application or proposal is classified under section 13.37.
