A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; prohibiting purchase or sale of right to kill
privately-owned big game; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes,
chapter 97B.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.

[97B.23] UNLAWFUL TO BUY OR SELL THE RIGHT OR
OPPORTUNITY TO KILL PRIVATE BIG GAME.

A person may not buy, sell, or offer for sale the right or opportunity to kill for enjoyment,
amusement, or sport any privately owned Cervidae, as defined in section 35.153, or other
privately owned big game.
