  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; allowing counties to 
  1.3             carryforward unused funds from the child care basic 
  1.4             sliding fee fund. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [TEMPORARY AUTHORITY TO CARRYFORWARD CHILD CARE 
  1.7   FUND.] 
  1.8      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 119B.03, 
  1.9   subdivisions 5 and 6, counties may carryforward unused child 
  1.10  care basic sliding fee funds from fiscal year 2004 until June 
  1.11  30, 2005. 
  1.12     For fiscal year 2005, counties may carryforward unused 
  1.13  child care basic sliding fee funds until June 30, 2006.
