A bill for an act
relating to corrections; appropriating money for an electronic system to manage
inmates conditionally released to perform community work service.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin MANAGING OFFENDERS CONDITIONALLY RELEASED TO
COMMUNITY WORK SERVICE.

new text begin $200,000 in fiscal year 2018 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of corrections to establish an electronic system for managing offenders conditionally released
to work at paid employment, seek employment, or participate in a vocational training or
educational program pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section 241.26.
