  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the environment; rejecting federal new 
  1.3             source emission rules. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [NEW SOURCE REVIEW RULES.] 
  1.6      The state does not adopt the new source emission rules 
  1.7   entitled "Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) and 
  1.8   Non-attainment New Source Review (NSR):  Equipment Replacement 
  1.9   Provision of the Routine Maintenance, Repair and Replacement 
  1.10  Exclusion," Federal Register, Volume 68, No. 207, Monday, 
  1.11  October 27, 2003.  The Pollution Control Agency shall amend 
  1.12  Minnesota Rules, part 7007.3000, under Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.13  section 14.386, to insert "through November 30, 2002" after "as 
  1.14  amended." 
  1.15     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective the day 
  1.16  following final enactment.
