relating to natural resources; appropriating money for county cooperative weed
management programs.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; COOPERATIVE WEED MANAGEMENT
PROGRAMS.

new text begin $300,000 in fiscal year 2010 and $300,000 in fiscal year 2011 are appropriated from
the general fund to the Board of Water and Soil Resources to begin and maintain county
cooperative weed management programs on natural lands and private lands enrolled in
state and federal conservation programs and to restore native plants in selected invasive
species management sites by providing local native seeds and plants to landowners for
implementation. This appropriation is available until expended.
