relating to capital investment; appropriating money for the Grand Rapids Industrial
Park.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin GRAND RAPIDS; INDUSTRIAL PARK IMPROVEMENTS.

new text begin $1,520,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Grand Rapids to construct
and equip capital improvements to publicly owned infrastructure in the city's industrial park.
This appropriation includes money to extend and make upgrades to water and sewer
infrastructure to attract new industry and support the expansion of existing businesses. This
appropriation is available until the project is completed or abandoned subject to Minnesota
Statutes, section 16A.642.
