BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin BIOSCIENCE PARK INFRASTRUCTURE.

new text begin $2,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund in fiscal year 2009 to the
commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Pine
Island for the design and construction of water and sewer infrastructure at the Elk Run
Bioscience Park. This is a onetime appropriation and is available until expended.
