A bill for an act
relating to transportation; modifying eligibility for safe routes to schools grants;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2014, section 174.40, by adding a subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2014, section 174.40, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

A statutory or home rule charter city, county, or town is eligible
to receive funding under this section only if it has adopted subdivision regulations that
require a developer to include safe routes to school infrastructure in new developments.
