1E Clarifying provisions relating to the iron range resources and rehabilitation
board (IRRRB); authorizing the commissioner of the IRRRB to lease surface and
mineral interests within the taconite assistance area affected by the LTV steel
mining company closure; requiring the commissioner to annually prepare a budget
containing certain components for submission to the board as a whole and the
governor for approval; extending the date for the board to prepare and present
to the governor and legislature a long range plan for the use of the Douglas J.
Johnson economic protection trust fund; appropriating money to the commissioner
of employment and economic development (DEED) for transfer to the Minnesota
minerals 21st century fund
