Requiring the office of educational accountability to collect data to evaluate
the persistence of students in teacher preparation and education programs and in
the teaching profession, requiring the collection of data in cooperation with
public post-secondary institutions, state colleges and universities and the
board of teaching, requesting cooperation of the university of Minnesota and
private post-secondary institutions; requiring annual collection of certain
specified data and specifying certain reporting requirements (je)
