E Relating to domestic abuse; requiring the release of certain domestic abuse
data to the victim upon request without cost; providing for the effect of
recognitions of parentage on temporary child custody, prohibiting the
determination of temporary custody and temporary parenting time on recognitions
of parentage or on the existence of presumptions of paternity in the absence of
a prior court order governing custody and parenting time; expanding the crime of
harassment and stalking applicable under the provision placing the burden of
proof of the best interests of the child on persons convicted of certain crimes
and seeking child custody or parenting time; modifying certain requirements for
hearings on applications for orders for protection under the domestic abuse act
in cases of already issued ex parte orders, providing for continuance; modifying
the effectiveness of ex parte orders for protection and temporary restraining
orders, orders to become effective upon being signed by a referee (je, ja)
